Lynda, your son should be able to use his phone right away after leaving the RTC.
I understand that this sometimes is not the case, but it doesn't have anything to do with the "phasing" they go through for liberty, off base liberty civilian clothes etc. Your sailor will know what his restrictions are, if he can't use it right away it will be locked up for him until he can.
It is so exciting to see all of you getting ready for Friday. Please come back and share with everyone your PIR experience. Those of us veteran moms love hearing the stories and we always like your input if things have changed from what we know or have been told.
This has been such a great group to watch and I want to see pictures of the TazNavyan Momsters when you come back. Please share!!!
Anyone else have s Sailor going to Meridian Mississippi for A School?
My son told me the same thing about the airport.. that we're not allowed to send him off. His flight leaves at 10am. I would love that time with him.
Hi Ladies...I'm not so much a "talker" as "listener"...and I have been doing a lot of "listening". It has been such a blessing to have this site especially this group over the last 8 weeks. Thank you so much for all the info...and entertainment. What a fun group. I will continue to pray for you...and our kids as we embark on the next step of this journey. So exciting! Congratulations, new sailors! Safe travels...
momoffive....where are you flying from cuz our flight gets in about the same time?
