FIRST TIME HERE?

FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

In the top photo, from left to right, those standing in the back are Judy (Shelley's mom), Donna, Marie, Steven, my son Sean (bro Zach is in Navy), and me. Seated from left to right are; Valorie, Dan, their son Brian, Shelley, Kaye S's son Drew, Brian's friend Thomas (plaid shirt), and Drew's friend Andrew. Brian and Thomas are MAs at Bangor, Shelley is a PS at Bremerton, Drew and Andrew are nuc MMs on Alabama.

hello all
If anyone leaves close to Everret Naval Station, we have a ship returning home VERY soon and would love some NAVY moms -dad -family to come and cheer this sailors on!!!!!
LIke I said its VERY soon, lots of fun, we already have quite a few coming from all over!

That's great news KAREN! Glad to hear your son's spirits have lifted too. The Navy life just wasn't his destiny I guess....He'll find his way, I'm sure. Won't it be so wonderful to HUG him again!!

There is no problem posting what ports a ship has visited. Planned port visits is another matter, especially with specific dates.

I have a few courageous daffodils up also! Snowed here this morning also! Supposed to be 60-70 this weekend... craziest weather I ever remember!

Welcome back Bobbi and congrts! My daffodills are almost done - and we have had sunshine - but still not enough rain. We are into our third year of drought.

Congrats Deb! Hope you can find a way to stay dry... This is definitely weather only for those web footed ones in the Pacific Northwest!
