Annette, Smiley  MSmom, is so right.  Take a deep breath and take each day a step at a time.  May will be here before you know it.

Thanks. I guess its just friday and I'm used to him calling me asking where we going to eat tonight. Might also be because I want to call my mom and called his phone by mistake. I did not realize it until voice mail picked up and I heard his voice. I realize he's okay and this is a great opportunity for him. He is an only child and we pretty much did everything together. I just feel bad talking about crying on here when there are other mothers going through worse.

@annette. I had those days too. When I wanted to cry and no one else understood. Just remember he is in good hands. Before you know it you will have tears of joy when that door rolls up in the graduation hall and you are cheering for your sailor. I think that the moms have a harder time than the recruits because we have to wait for any news. I promise you it will be better the closer you get to pir.

don't mean to depress anyone but I am having a bad cry day today and don't know why... work is just not doing the trick today.  Maybe it was looking for hotels, etc.  I just needed to talk to someone who knows what it's like. Canot wait for 5/11 to get here

Dianne, don't worry, I'm not too far behind you and I have a birthday coming next week.  Smiley

FTLW, step it up, lady.  wink

Don't rush me! Slave drivers..... hahahahaha!
It's been a wierd week...it didn't even compute that it us Friday and time to look at the next group! I think its because the last two formed so closely together! Also haven't "seen" as many departures on the monthly and BC mom group...but, that doesn't mean its not happening! I do know that RTC is going through some readiness excersizes...but don't know if it affects recruit arrivals.

LaLa...you said you have already had a mom order for 05/18? I'll be "recruiting" then!
Comment by diannep on March 23, 2012 at 11:59am

...oh, and you have to know the age to do that...it is 6 years before I normally would collect my own.  Does that tell you anything???  :-)
