Ok, Lala....in just 2 years, I am old enough to collect social security on my deceased husband's social security.  So, you see, much older than you....but "young at heart!"  HA!

Yeah, well I have always had a hard time with names lol. And I bet you are not much older than me if any at all. Remember I have a 29 yr old son that some of the moms were "talking"about haha. I will definitely try saying the name 3 times but as many people as I meet on here I might have to say them 30 times lol.

Haha, D-i-a-n-n-e, lol.

Poor Lala, it's so hard getting old, isn't it?     Confused Smileys

Happy Friday Morning ladies.

kimstn:  You are doing exactly what we N4Moms veterans recommend!  Write often, about anything, just to let your SR know you are thinking always of him/her.  They are pretty stressed during bootcamp, cut off from the outside world.  So 'you' are their connection.  They love mail...it is like Christmas morning to them!

Lala, my name is D - I - A - N - N - E  !  HAAA!  I know the feeling...as I get older, names are harder to remember!  I met a lady yesterday at the gym...yep, I remember, her name is PAT...I had to say it about 12 times!  Luckily, I see her often so I can remember her name.  It is those that I don't see often...their names sometimes just don't come to mind!  But I'm working on it!  They say if you say the person's name three times right after you meet them, then it helps to solidify this in your brain.  Oh, and hate to say...but you are many years younger than me....this only gets worse....ugh!  :-)

A mom in a different PIR group had already purchased round trip tickets from Southwest and with this new special she was able to change her tickets to less expensive ones and got a $100.00 credit to use on a flight in the future so be sure and check them out even if you already have tickets with them.

You have to excuse me Gail, sometimes I think I have lost it. I hear so many names and can never remember them. I need to find a way to learn names better. I am really good at remembering numbers but names, not so much lol. I know you probably thought I was crazy lol.

And as far as stalking goes, I think pretty much every person on this site is guilty of stalking the mailman lol. I really miss the letters and hoping for one after bootcamp ended.

Aw, Gail :-) You must be the one who sent me the email, I sent you the info just a few minutes ago :-)

I am glad I am not the only crazy mom out there stalking their mailman. Just want to hear something from them is all and the mailman just happens to be a wanted man lately by ALL us navy moms. It would be nice if they could send a KID IN THE BOX instead of a letter........lol.
