Okay...they have a new website. Did you see that undeer the FAQ's...that's where I did...so I am assuming that is general info...again this Navy Lodge is different in that it is bnot locaed on the base. Let me call them.
KikiOtter - Did you do it online? I have always heard that you just had to bring them by after PIR (and that most times they were not strict about that...not sure...this is the only Navy Lodge that is not on a base). When you reserve you just give their name and rate? I have Dependant ID through hubby so did not have to go that route. LaLa stayed too...so hope she sees this post and give some more insight. I'll see if I can give the GL branch a call.
Wait, was it the Navy Lodge or the Navy Gateway Inn?
Looks like now since the 141 division passed the BS test, the sailors are enjoying free time in the arcade! My bf even had the chance to get on FB to talk for a bit. It's really nice to see that things are coming along and graduation is right around the corner. I would have not made through this without the help and comfort from everyone on this page. Thanks so much! I feel truly blessed. Hope everyone is having a great weekend!
kimstn - Kudos to you! both for your PERSEC ( PERsonal SECurity LOL) and on your RCPO or RPOC (its easier to say!) and Honor Grad! Hooyah!
Here is a chart of the COC at RTC (Chain of Command):
Click to open in another page and zoom.
Here is the link to RTC website that explains all the RPO positions (Recruit Petty Officers):
http://www.bootcamp.navy.mil/recruit_petty_officer.asp
Here is a pic of a Collar Device(I belive there are a different number of Chevrons depending on their postition) that the RPO's wear:
On the Chart RCPO(Recruit Chief Petty Officer) = RPOC; RLPO(Recruit Lead Petty Officer = AROC
But it is too hard to yell... "RRRRCPO or RRRRLPO get your ________ in here"...So RRRRRRPOOOC and ARRRRROC it is.
Honor Grads are posted late Wednesday Afternoon on the RTC Website...I try to remember to make a Discussion with a link for it! And yes...their full names will be listed...but it is released by the Navy...so okay! Honor should be recognized.
For those taking the Shuttle to PIR...no, you won't need the Vehicle Gate Pass...this is only for those that are driving a vehicle onto RTC. Same thing if you take a taxi back in the evening to drop off your Sailor. They will drop off outside the gate (allow ample time for them to walk back. It's a good walk...they may not run or double time it either. Plus, on time...is late. )
BUT, if you take the Shuttle and then later in the evening return your Sailor in a private car or rental and want to drive onto RTC...you will need a Vehicle Gate Pass...or you will have to drop them off outside the gate.
All vehicles are subject to inspection....this is random and takes a few minutes.

Also, the FAQ's from RTC Website:
Jessica - That sounds good! :-)
Rather than type it all out for you...I am going to Copy and Paste the Accessing Base info from the amily Guide. Then I will add the link to the Family Guide for those that may not have read it yet.
