Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

A quick note here: Last Names of Recruits/Sailors are not allowed on this site. If it is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. If I had seen your post Friday night, you could have ridden over with me & Kiddo in the car. :( briefly saw you in the uso I think. I was barely awake and scatter-brained. Our Sailor is on hold, so we were able to spend Friday, all day Saturday and even some time with him this morning. It was great, but so hard to leave him. (I think I cried for the first 3 hours of our 6 hour drive home.) He's not certain, but hoping to be shipping out Monday or Tuesday to Pensacola. After that we'll get him home again for about 3 weeks and then he's shipping out to Japan.

Comment by kimstn on May 13, 2012 at 9:58am: Wow! what a great weekend! My son was so self-assured, self confident and just had a great time with him. He had been RPOC for his division, so he evidently had to reign in on the order giving part of his adventure once he was with us. He was only indecisive when it came to choosing a restaurant - and he had some trouble figuring out how to eat wearing all white without mishap! lol Once that was done, we were off and running and had a great day.

He is off to Pensacola and we are already discussing a trip to see him since he can have days off base starting next Saturday. In a few weeks, he will be allowed weekends off base too. Hope to spend is 19th birthday with him in FL!!!
