Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

A quick note here: Last Names of Recruits/Sailors are not allowed on this site. If it is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture.

Comment by diannep on April 14, 2012 at 4:55pm: Rachel, not sure about that. Ask on the A School group because the ladies on there should be able to tell you that. He also will be informed on this when in "Indoc" once he arrives on base, so he may call and tell you then.

Comment by Rachel 11/142 on April 14, 2012 at 2:47pm: I have a question for the Veterans. My husband goes onto A school for just 3 weeks in P-cola. I know he will be in phase one, but could we see each other on base like at a restaurant or the NEX during his free time?

rluv: Suggestion: Scan pictures onto a sheet of paper or the back of your letter to her. You get more on that way, and the pics don't take up her small storage space.

He saying that him as well as the rest of the division are getting the hang of boot-camp and that they are getting stronger! I'm so happy to hear from him and just wanted to share.. Happy Friday!
