I got my 2nd letter today from my Hubby! So much more upbeat than the last letter. He had great things to say about all the SR's in Ship12 Div369. He also said the RDC's are really cool! 5 weeks from today we will all be in Great Lakes, probably unable to sleep, I know I won't be able to! So anxious to see my SR!

Congrats to everyone who got phone calls and letters!!!!  It's terrific.  I'm hoping tomorrow is my lucky day.  I finally booked my hotel.  We're staying at the Comfort Suites in Grayslake.  It's a little further than the other hotels (10.6) miles, but I've read really good things about it and it's only 2 yrs old.  Plus $72/night is pretty good.  Last thing to do is reserve the car....PIR here I come!!!

Glad to see everyone getting letters and phone calls. I know that my son is not a letter writer so i hold onto the fact that no news is good news, Can't wait to see him in november.

Woo Hoo!  I spoke with my daughter today....she said everyone in her division was given a call home.  Hope everyone was available for the call.  She sounded wonderful.

@ missync....our son got his wisdom teeth pulled too! Glad you got another letter. We got ours on a saturday so hopefully it will come SOON!

Unbelievably, I got letter 3 yesterday. ..starting to feel guilty.  But, as has been said, each one is more upbeat.  Those first few weeks were BAD, so everything they experience is "better"! Lots of wisdom teeth have been removed...must not want any "wise guys" in the service!
