Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

WOW, ending to a great day!  I know a few Sailors from Division 168 got the surprise of having their Sailors for extra days... our Sailor was one of those!. I hope other families also were blessed as well.  If anyone would like a "stained glass" pendant for their Ship 11 Division 168 Sailor, send me a private message.  I have a few left over. Can't wait to see his smiling face again tomorrow.

OMG!!! WHAT a great day!!! This was the best day!!!. so exciting to see all the sailors and the ceremony was awesome!!!. Got my sailor for 7 hrs. and then 5-6 more hours tomorrow at the airport. They looked so great!!!!  I recommend everyone go to Sarge's Meet n Greet.  we did two, Ramada and Sarges.  They were both very good.  My girl just wanted to chill at the Hotel and EAT!!! we went for steak at Lonestar Steakhouse!!! so very good!!! so proud of her...

PIR was amazing!! As soon as those doors opened, we spotted her!! Our Sailor.. 3 rows back, & my eyes spotted her within seconds!! CONGRATULATIONS to all the Sailors & they're families!! This is a very proud moment! Also, thankyou to Lala Ribbon Queen for the awesome PIR ribbons!!! EVERYONE complimented us!! Have a great day everyone!!

jansu831...3 months ago today I was sitting in those bleachers awaiting those doors opening and I still get chills and tears sting my eyes thinking about it.  ENJOY THESE MOMENTS! You are making great memories now.  CONGRATULATIONS to ALL of the new Sailors and their families! :-)

Thinking of you all at PIR as you are anxiously awaiting those doors to rise.  I get chills just thinking of it.  LOTS of pictures!!!  Happy day!
