Welcome to PIR 06/01/2012

OPSEC, OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance. Please take the time
to read the OPSEC and Community Guidelines. A quick note here: Last Names of Sailors/Recruits  are not allowed on this site. If it is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture.

Congrats to you all and enjoy your time with your sailors!! I can not believe how fast time flies, I so remember being where you all are and next week my sailor graduates from A School already and comes home for leave.  Hug them tight because time with them is so precious!!  Communication at A School is AWESOME!!  Tons of phone calls, at least weekly so even though your time may be short know that you will be able to talk with them soon and often!

DramaSoul:  I had the same experience...also 9 divisions when my son PIRed.  We were on the 6:30 shuttle and were so glad.  We were in the hall a few minutes after 7 and would do it the same way again.

Hey ladies...don't forget that you may possibly see your sailors in the bathroom area of PIR hall!  Yep!  Some "chance" meetings there before it starts.  So, I'm just saying...if someone saves your seat, you may want to "hang out" there for a while  :-)
