My five things that make me most happy
1. Seeing the pride that my sailors grandparents had in their eyes when they saw him.
2. The loving hug that my sailor and his younger sister had at PIR.
3. The moment of pride when my sailor said I got a promotion in boot camp
4. To see tears of joy and pride in my husband's eyes.
5. Knowing I will see him for Thanksgiving
Ladies, Lala has something new!!! It's a Christmas ornament with our PIR date engraved. Would be a great addition to GNL's snowman ornament! Check it out...

Here's a pic. She hand etches them.
Modesto, yes it's a savings program.
Question... I get my daughters bank mail here and was going over her stuff as she asked me to so she could make sure she wasn't getting into anything she shouldn't be, IE any type of credit cuz she isn't ready for that yet.. anyhow my question is... a letter she received is an special easystart certificate confirmation notice... is this a savings account?? She thinks it is because she signed up for one.
Coop! Got our pictures too! They look so grown up, don't they??? I too have had to already put another order in for more.Praying that patience will come easier for you! For all of us! I'm having to bite my tongue. Want to tell her how to do things and such and know I can't! I did suggest that she buy some dryer sheets. They can be used for cleaning just about everything (mirrors, countertops, sinks, floor boards, etc) and they help repel dust and make everything smell better. She actually thanked me for that repeatedly as they have a room inspection tomorrow and she said they would probably have to work all night. I was like, "Ummm, didn't you just get there? Is it really that bad???" she reminded me that her room mates have been there for weeks and have accumulated a lot of stuff. oh boy.
Hi, I haven't gone anywhere either. Got home about 1:00am Monday morning & I am still trying to catch up on everything. Really enjoyed meeting everyone & spending time with my son. Got his pictures yesterday! Changed my name also...that was a great idea. Haven't heard too much from my son other than a few texts(which is wonderful compared to no communication). He seems to really like P'Cola. I am trying not to bug him too much. Like some of the other Moms on here earlier said...I think he is enjoying the independence. I will be patient & hope I hear more soon.
Praying for your brother Modesto.
Sharon, you're welcome! Hope you can get it all worked out!
