Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

A quick note here: Last Names of Recruits/Sailors are not allowed on this site. If it is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture.

One landed outside a man's apt, parachute dangling, blood coming out of his nose, and apologized to the resident who came out to help him. GOD BLESS HIM! Thinking of others when he was so injured. Hope no one on the ground was killed. So far, haven't heard, but don't know if they know.

Navy confirms jet has crashed in Virginia Beach

12:23 PM - Rescuers are on the scene of a reported Navy jet crash in the 900 block of S. Birdneck Road. Smoke could be seen billowing over the scene on video. The pilots appear to have ejected from the plane. FULL STORY

Those words makes it so much better now. Making matters even better, my twin sister also received a letter from my daughter, so we are both ecstatic. Keep ya head up loved ones...

It adds to their bootcamp stories! :) I'm sure that your letter will be coming in no time. My recruit sent me a letter on a Saturday night and I didn't get to one week later..
