Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

It so helps to lighten the load of our worries to hear positive things from our daughters!! She has the right attitude and I bet there alot of girls out there showing them what women are really made of!!

Still has her ever so hilarious sense of humor...which I am so happy to see. Says its hard, there are about 40-50 girls in her division. But says she is going to make this!

Last I heard, his division hasn't even received any of my many letters. I hope he's not feeling isolated. Please, anyone who receives letters, keep sharing details. Thank you!

Comment by VickiW Ship12 Div 147 PIR5/11 on April 5, 2012 at 7:06pm: Yes, I got a letter!!!!! It was a 3 page letter both side.. She said the food is good, but they work so hard she is hungry all the time. She is a small girl size 4 so that is amazing to hear that. She said they get yelled at all the time and the RDC keeps threathing to hold back their whole division if they don't get it together. I know that is just a threat they all make so hopefully she is not taking it too much to heart. She said she only gets to send letters on Sunday but to keep mine coming because she really enjoys them. She said the shots hurt and they chopped all her hair off... Poor girl...She said to have my phone by me becuase they have been told they get a 60 min call on April 9th. I sure hope they don't loose that! I am so happy for my letter!!! Hope everyone else is getting one soon too!
