OPSEC, OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance. Please take the time
to read the OPSEC and Community Guidelines. A quick note here: Last Names of Recruits/Sailors are not allowed on this site. If it is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture.

rluv, it is possible that they have changed the way they do things or like you said it could be because it was such a large group. they change things all the time and the only way we know is to learn from those who have gone more recently than we have. we appreciate you letting us know what happened when you were there and for helping out on this site ;-)

Sorry Nancy if I miss spoke. I only know when I was there in March they where making people with more than 4 in there group stand in a line next to where they take your names prior to entering the graduation seating area. I don't know if the 4 on the list were able to sit. I saw the people from the line come in right before the graduation started. This was on March 16,12. I herd it was a very large graduating class. That might have been why... hope I didn't confuse you.

No Nancy, that is not true. If you are on the list you don't have to wait on extras to be allowed in. They will wait in the visitors center until they are told they can go in and you can save them a seat. If there are plenty of seats and not a huge PIR group then they most likely won't have to wait at all. Also you don't have to wait for your entire party that is on the list to get in unless they have changed it. My Ex and his wife were on the list as well as Me and my husband (fiance at the time) and we did not arrive together nor did we wait on them to get there to go in. The arrived an hour after we had already been seated. Also, my husband was unable to attend and I took my dad instead and it was too late to change the names on the list. When we checked in We told them the name of the person who could not come and gave them the name of the person who came instead. They changed the name and didn't make him wait at all. We also took 4 etra guests and they didn't have to wait to get in but we got there early.

Yes--rluv, I agree with Jessica.  It is 3415.  There is no 3145 in any addresses.

So Happy for all of you who are receiving letters! I sure do wish I'd get one from my SR, so I can be happy for me!

Comment by Linda (Ship 11 Div 141) on March 31, 2012 at 5:53pm

Annette- Thank you so much for your comforting words and guess what I also received my letter today!! I am so relieved! :) He is in Ship 11 and Division 141.. So far so great, he said that the division was punished on Saturday because one of their teammates fell asleep! I thought that was kind of funny and wanted to share that but all is well. He will graduating May 11 so I am definitely happy that I joined the right group!!  I'll try to keep updating here :)

@rluv76:  That was also the address on my form letter and also had the 3415 on the letter I received from her.  However, the last letter I wrote I went ahead and sent to the 3415 as it matched the address given to me my her recruiter.  Like you... hoping she gets my mail!
