I had someone ask me this on my blog today. While I do not feel I am qualified enough to answer it I felt bad not answering it. I do not think I am an expert on love and relationships, or the military, but I do feel I gave some pretty valid advice. If I left anything out or if you think you can add anything to this please tell me.....

“Today things went well. We did some CBT (computer based training) and its pretty boring. I am still trying to find other ways of getting a hold of you and ITS NOT WORKING!!! We had a mock MCA-WTI inspection, and if it was the real thing I would have gotten a 5.0! I am trying my hardest for Honor Grad. I am trying to make everyone at home proud of the new Navy member of the family. Come to find out dad was right, because of my…

I have a few questions for anyone that can answer them or knows about them. My boyfriend has been gone for boot camp for a week now. I was wondering when I was going to recieve his address and when I should expect a phone call or a few? Also, are we allowed to send them care packages?
Thank you!

So went to visit my daughter this weekend in Virginia (that is were she is stationed) and was a little bummed.. She was so excited when she was in bootcamp & A school, no she is just blah. She went into bootcamp as undesignated, because she couldn't wait to go in, now she is seeing that she should of waited for her field to come up. She really wants EOD. She is complaining of being exhausted from doing nothing…

“Well today after the Holiday Routine we had a Divisional beat down. These kids just don’t want to listen to the recruit chain of command, and they don’t know how to act. Plus most of the recruit chain of command can’t even follow their own orders. What a joke!Then add in the fact that these kids cant even figure out how to march in columns of 3 or 6.…

Day 6... See I can still count. lol
So today was good, spent the day at the house, dad did the dishes for the boys. We did some laundry. Storm Chaser slept most of the day. Dad is teasing him with cat treats. I am not sure who is having more fun, dad or the cat.
So if and when you need anything, let me know. Even things we did not talk about.
Love you, take care and always keep a smile on your face!

Sad news;
U.S. and British units are searching for a Sailor from USS Halsey (DDG-97) who went missing while the ship was conducting operations in the Gulf of Oman Jan. 18. Our thoughts and prayers are with the crew and the Sailor's family as the search continues.

I'm looking for anyone who has a child in this Division. Thought it would be nice to keep up with each other. It's week 2 starting today. It's been the longest 7 days of my life. I've kept myself busy but it sure has been a roller coaster of emotion. There are days I wake up anxious and days I'm so busy I almost forget.... well not forget but I hope you know what I mean. I'm also so very proud of and excited for my son, more so than sad. Hope there's more of you out there. LOL

I got to relieve some of my stress and anxiety today. I went with my in-laws to the gun range.
I love going shooting. I remember the first time I went I was so nervous to even think about touching a gun.
But now I enjoy it. My comfort level has increased greatly over the last few trips to the range and
I have moved up from only shooing 22's to shooting a 9mil and 40 cal.
The smaller holes are from the 22…
