For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

So my sister recently got engaged… I’m trying my hardest to
be happy for her. But I just don’t know how to, when I’m jealous of her. I’m
jealous that she will have her husband, everyday right by her side. I’m jealous
that she doesn’t have to worry, worry if he’s going to get deployed. I should
say when he’s going to get deployed, and where to. I’m jealous that she doesn’t

Well it will be 2 months tomorrow since Brandon was deployed.....
Oh how I miss him and worry and pray every day. I know Brandon
is doing fine ( I am just a mom).... Brandon has trained for the Navy
since he was 11 yrs old. He was in Sea Cadets for seven years before
joining the Navy. He is in SARS as an AWR-Rescue Swimmer...... I am still not quite sure what this means.... I think it means that he is a
tactical SAR..... I am still investigating.....…

The box has finally arrived today by fedex. I was prepared to have my head turned away while opening it due to many saying sometimes they smell bad. I was thankful my husband either donated or threw away his pants, boxers, and socks. so his box smelled like new shoes. :) Also in his box was his phone which was stuffed in his shoe along with his ipod, sweater, shirt, a huge packet of papers, and info from the airline.
