Can Someone tell me the difference between a Hospitalman and a Corpsman. I noticed in some press communications, there were the two different rates for different sailors.

I wonder if anyone can answer a question that I have. I sent my son a express mail letter next day air any idea how long it will take for it to reach him or is there a chance that it will come back to me. When I went on to the usps website it said that notice was given. I hope I didn't do the wrong thing. There was a phone card n stamps in it. I don't know if anyone was supposed to sign or not, would that make a difference as to wether he gets it.
Please help.

My son, whose "go date" is sometime in Sept. 2010, just had emergency gall bladder surgery. All went fine. Will he still qualify for enlistment? He has had no surgeries before this one and has been a healthy individual his whole life (27 years).
Any comments about this would be helpful. Thanks!
