Numbers 6:24-26 from the NIV

May the LORD bless you and keep you;

I especially like it from the Message translation

God bless you and keep you,

God look you full in the face

HarmonyWorks - oh my goodness! I didn't realize Honnalora was going to do this for you - this is SO very awesome!!! Wow Ladies - we truly are blessed to have found each other! So very glad to be a part of this group! What day are you going to renew your vows on?

NavyWife - I say block him also. I think HarmonyWorks put it perfectly. You have no reason to feel bad or guilty - society may think it's wierd that you dont want his 'friendship' right now, but in your heart you know it doesn't feel right. I believe that is our concience (holy spirit) guiding us, you have no reason to feel bad, and if your friend does not understand, simply be kind to her and tell her you forgive her for not understanding, but you don't feel right about the situation. But if you keep making excuses to him, he'll keep badgering you and you'll just keep feeling worse. It's not a nice situation to be in, but you're on the right track! Love & strenght to you!

Navy wife,
He does sound creepy, just be honest and tell him that J would not approve of you being at his home, keep us posted and good luck.

I think the fact that you met Honalora in this group, and she is willing to perform the ceremony is a sign that this is the right time.

Wow, lots of excitement here since I signed off last night. A Wedding even (ok, vow renewal, but just as exciting)!! Harmony, how long have you been married? It's actually my anniversary on 10/8. My ex-husband. Who is going to be at PIR too. With my current husband. Kinda wierd.

Hoping for letters today, it has been awhile. I had to go to the post office over lunch to get a big envelope because my SR's friend/girlfriend sent me a letter to send to him and it was 1/4 inch thick! I'm guessing that will keep him busy for a little while. It actually gave me a little break as I just sent a card rather than a letter this time.

I can't believe how excited I am to meet all of you in THREE WEEKS!!! I have nothing to compare to, but I can't help but think this is an exceptional PIR group!

HarmonyWorks - good for you!!! I'm sure you'll make memories!! Btw - my DH thanks you too for reminding me how glad I am to have him around! My prayers are with you, I can only imagine how hard this is for you and other wives! Fight the good fight, and keep you're chin up! He needs you to be strong now more than ever before. You two are beginning quite a journey - it'll all be good! Hugs -

HarmonyWorks:
The weather here in October is useually quite beautiful. Today we've had times of rain and clear blue sky's. The forecasted temp is high of 71 and a low of 54. Currently it's 68. The leaves are just starting to change into their fall colors. By the third week of October there is a color explosion. I always loved October here. I imagine the temps might dip a bit by PIR, but not too much. I went on Weather.com and looked up the temp history for Waukegan (GL) October 8 2009. The high that day was 53-low 46 and it went from clear to light rain to overcast. Average temp 62/43. The record high was 86 in 2007 and record low was 32 in 2000. Like we say here, if you don't like the weather, wait a minute, it will change. Dress in layers. I always say, It's better to have it and not need it, then to need it and not have it.
