Dans mom- check your inbox, I sent you a private message to check on your last name. I'm pretty sure that your son and mine are bunkmates!

Navywife-go get those kids! He he. Well, Men who do not speak a lot of words must be content and not have a lot to say unless it is important. Well, my son explains that i am on the"a need to know, mother" plan! My son left the 11th so perhaps your phone call will be tomorrow.... We will all keep on praying for all to do well. Thanks Honnolera for the beautiful prayer. See you all later

Sorry to hear that kellig! My son said that they would possibly get another chance on saturday. He hopes everyone comes together so they can call.

Phone call came but I was somewhere the reception was poor and the call dropped before we could talk. He called home too but his dad wasn't home. Oh well, it wasn't meant to be today. Still breaks my heart that I missed him but did get another letter today and feel like I talked to him just by reading what the others in his division said in their phone calls. The support here is amazing and it helps to be reminded we are all Navystrong, even when we don't feel Navystrong! I will be praying that everyone hears something soon.

Honnalora, thank you for the wonderful prayer. I have printed it out and put it next to my computer (that seems to be where I spend the majority of my time these days!).

Today was a good day for me also. A letter( very short, but he is writing) and a phone call. ( he has only received two letters) He sounded much better, and actually made a point to mention this site. One of his good buddies mom is here also. I am sure he said new jersey. i was on my cell at work and he kept cutting out. I did not hear anything about wisdom teeth or a flag but he said his div was doing good. He personally has not passed the running yet, but I told him to find a buddy to pace him. Hopefully that will work. He called around 5pm Chicago time. The designs for the shirts, cups etc are beautiful, I will be sure to order when we get closer. I must have missed where the m&g is? Yes, I would love for N4Ms to identify themselves. Thank you for sharing The Letter Karen- That is more words than my son" speeks" in a month HEHE. Well, I just skimmed the posts since I just got home from work and is on my way to open house. Hope to catch up tonight. Life keeps getting in the way of this family. Nanna

Thank you NavyWife. I do know what you mean. I cannot wait to go. He did say that they would have been able to call sooner but people weren't cooperating. I want them to cooperate because I want my phone calls. Is that being selfish?

I haven't been on here in a while. I think it has just been so hard to not have my son around. I miss him so much. Today, after feeling a bit depressed, I received two letters. My daughter called while I was at work and my whole mood changed at work. Icouldn't wait to get home to hear from my son. The letters were wonderful. I can't believe how many times he said he loved me. He told his little brother he isn't cleaning the bathroom foors with a toothbrush and yet I find out he's in charge of the bathrooms. How ironic! As we sat down to eat dinner, we got our phone call. The first time it came through, the connection was bad. The call was lost. I thought he wouldn't be able to call back, but he did. It was so good to hear him. He became emotional and I started to cry but it just felt so good to hear from him. I am so glad everyone is starting to get letters and phone calls. This is so hard for everyone.

What an exciting day!!!!

Karen1913, I'm so glad you shared the letter. My husband is in that Division and it was cool to read about some of the different things going on inside there. :)

Navywife, you made me laugh when you mentioned stepping on your dog. You should've seen me dive over the sofa yesterday when my phone rang across the room. I think we're all having those moments, LOL!

So you're sailor is in 340 also? So is my son!! I have been trying to see if anyone else's SR (sorry, not sailors yet) is in this DIV and weather they've gotten letters or calls - wondering if the whole DIV is being punished, not working together well, or just a lazy mailman!! I friend requested you, please accept so we can keep in closer touch to know what our SR's in DIV 340 are up to!
