You're welcome Brittanysmom, and yeah Jessica, they do really SUCK lol.... And it didn't help knowing she was sitting on a bus right there at the airport and I was inside and couldn't go out to see her. She was so close but yet soooo far away. And then she was in Pensacola before we even got out of Chicago because of terrible rain and flooding. It took us 4 hours to go 35 miles. It made for a very long drive back to NC.

Got letters today! 2 for me and 2 for the girlfriend! Awesome, more details to come.

Lala Ribbon Queen - Thanks all this info helps me alot. I just know that she is probably dying to be back in touch with the real world as much as we are for her to be. Again, it is a wait and see what happens. It seems like we are all just so anxious. Thanks for the advice.

Brittanysmom- Not all grad and goes can get their phones at the airport. If they get put on a chartered flight you won't get to see them or give them anything at all. We mailed her phone and some other stuff to her at A-school. She had the address within 24 hours of getting to Pensacola. She actually went to the NEX and bought a cheap pay as you go phone the day she got to Pensacola. She used it for a less than a week while she was waiting on her droid to arrive. And I don't recommend paying extra for overnight shipping, priority seems to be just as fast.

Ok so good news, then maybe in 2 or so weeks we can find out.

Ok thanks, I have sent her questions in one of my letters asking if she knows yet if she is a Grad and Go or not. So for me I guess it is a waiting game. Thanks everyone.

Well my son's girlfriend got a letter today! She doesn't live that far from me so hopefully today is the day for Ohio moms! Lucky her that her mailman comes early. I have to stay in suspense until at least 4:00 today! But I am learning patience!!!

She said he is doing great! Hopefully will see some posts during the day from everyone that letters are coming!!!

Lala Ribbon Queen, Thanks for answering my question. My next question is, when were you able to give your daughter her cell phone? I didn't think they were allowed to take them back to boot camp. I was wanting to bring her several things, like her phone, ipod and debit card, but thought I read from the navy that they could not take those items back to base? This comment wall helps me alot, but I am still trying to decifer some stuff. Thank you.
Praying for my call this wek. I have felt a little more composed this week with Brittany gone, but last week I was a total basket case. This insight is so wonderful and helpful!! Cindy

Hi everyone. Work and paperwork for my other kids is keeping me pretty busy and Unable to visit with you all on this site for a couple of days. I do keep you all in my prayer that those letters and phone calls will be SOON. My son said that they all wrote Sunday, but even though I have had the first phone call and letter, I still walk around a little uneasy. Tomorrow will be week 3 over. Almost half way. You guys make me laugh and smile-thank you for being there even when I only have time to read your comments. Nanna
