Proudtobehismom, Please don't think I was taking it wrong. We are all in this together and are here to support each other. I was just sharing so that hopefully others would be reassured that they weren't alone. It does It's easy to feel alone through all of this, that's why connecting here is so important. I know for me, it helps knowing you are all here with me. Can't imagine walking through this without my N4M family!

Last night I found myself in continuous prayer for our loved ones. I know how hard it is for all of us, not hearing from them. I was praying that they would be comforted knowing how much we miss and love them, even if they can't hear it directly from us. The Lord is there with them, and he can remind them of our love. I am praying that He brings to their memory the sounds of our voices and the loving words that we have spoken to them so often. As much as we need to hear their voices, I am sure they need to hear our even more. Let's agree in prayer - and pray that we hear from them soon!

Honnalora- you most certainly have my prayers. I am sorry if I came across insensitive to others who have not gotten them yet. I truly did not mean to. Just very anxious and frustrated by it. When I see your story, I realize that that it hasn't near as long for 333 as for some others. Positive thoughts this week that we all hear from them and that they are getting our letters! Again, sorry if I made it seem like we were the "only ones"!

My son left the same time TiffsMom's recruit. My son is in the 947 division, here in this PIR. It's been 3 weeks since he left! I am excited that some are getting letters, but am praying for any communication from my recruit. It seems that there are more of us without letters, than have gotten them. Let's pray that they are all doing well and we will hear from them soon.

TiffsMom- THANK YOU! This is what I need to hear so I don't feel like we are the only group out there not getting the contact. Just going a little insane...feeling like Ma Navy has taken him hostage and little do they know that I would pay any ransom amount right now to talk to him :) You can sneak in here anytime!

I sneakied in here! Just to let those few know that haven't received a call or letter. My daughter has been gone three weeks :( and no call. She left August 9th (Same as PK's son) and she and I both received our first mail on Thursday... so it took 2 weeks and 4 days for mail :( not sure when we will get a call... hang in there :) :)

sjerseytina - If you click on the View All button right above this Add Comment section, you will find your Ship 4/Div 822 discussion. I'm not sure how to post it into my comment.

Good luck to all of you starting back to work in schools next week. Some days I wish I couldn't get onto N4M from work! I try to only check over my lunch break, but when the discussions really get going, it is hard to stay off.

Really am happy for you that have received your letters and now even phone calls.:) Please say an extra prayer for Ship 10, Division 333, we seem to be the only group arriving on or close to August 12 who have not received a letter nor a phone call. Very challenging for us moms in that group, but my heart goes out to their division as well, as there must be something setting them back. Even if it is just their RDC being a little less gracious with letter writing and phone calls which I hear can be the case. Thanks for the prayers ladies!
