The wedding renewal went great! There were lots of tears.

On another teary note...I am a bit of a mess. I already miss my child sooo much. I can hardly take it.

I was so sad yesterday. I cried repeatedly throughout the day. I even had a dream I was crying and woke up crying. Things will never be the same again, and I don't deal well with change sometimes.

It's gonna get better!

Did anyone see Harmoney and her kids? How did the wedding go?

Awww! I bet you were happy to at least get that much. Hopefully all is well with the baby & you get to see him in person soon. I know that texting with my son & talking to him on the phone never seemed like such a big deal as it does now.

Not the best photo but it's nice to see his face. We got to Skype multiple times this weekend! <3

I got back last night and I was crying on the plane because I was already missing him! He's staying in GL for his A School which starts on 10/29..This was an AWESOME event!

Hello, got back from an amazing weekend with my son; best part of PIR was the divisions marching in, couldn't keep from tearing up. It was so wonderful to see him and spend the weekend, he was able to spend the nights (Friday and Saturday) with us since he G&G to another building in GL, he'll be there a week then off to the next part of this adventure!

I caught up on a few posts, but it sounds like we're all experiencing some sadness today, we leave the bootcamp phase and the kids move on with their careers. We had to take him back last night since our flight left so early this morning but it was great being able to talk to him on the phone (and if I can figure out Skype we'll try that too. :-)

Sad also that I only met one N4M, as I couldn't do the M&G; I did meet someone's grandma who was wearing a ribbon and had a nice conversation with her!

Just got back to Greenville, SC. This weekend with my son was amazing. It was so much harder to leave him this time. Although he has his phone and can call...I know that this marks the end of one phase of our relationship and the beginning of a whole new phase. I am excited and sad................Go figure.
THANK YOU ALL (yes I am yelling) for helping me get through the last nine weeks. Couldn't have done it without you. AND A BIG THANK YOU to the RDC's who took my son and made him a better version of himself. I am truly thankful.
I don't know about everyone else but I heard some hilarious stories...really side splitting... that show that the RDC's are human and really take these SR's under their wings and DO NOT want them to fail.
I loved meeting some of you at the meet and greet and hope we can stay in touch.
Take care.
Have a blessed night
as our sailors would say Smooth Sailing..........
