Father God,

We come before you in the Mighty Name of Jesus. Thank you for giving us the strength to face another day, and the mercy and grace to make it worthwhile. I am especially thankful for each and everyone of my dear friends here on Navy for Moms. Thank you for knitting our hearts together through many tears, prayers, and moments of joyous laughter. This experience would not have been the same had each of us had to walk it alone. You have blessed us mightily by allowing this sweet friendships to blossom, and to give us the opportunity to encourage and lift each other up through your Spirit.

In the coming days, our nerves may seem tense and our tensions may run high. I ask that you bring a sense of calm and peace coupled with strength and excitement to all of us. When the storms of life appear to be surging, there is a calm in us that is always stronger. I am reminded that when you children are in a storm, sometimes you tell the storm to be still, and other times you cause your children to be still - and KNOW that you are God!

Let each and everyone of us rejoice in you today, and to rejoice in what you are accomplishing in our loved ones as they commit to serve our nation, and to serve You. Lord, we are honored that you are allowing these great things to take place in the lives of these dear recruits. What an honor it is for them to be able to serve, and let then never take that for granted

Thank you for the blessing of the recruits that have completed battlestations and are now sailors in the US NAVY! We also ask that you protect and guide all of our soon to be sailors through battlestations., Give them sound minds, clarity of heart, and great wisdom. Be with them and let them know that are their strength. Increase their faith, and walk with them in a mighty way!

We give you all honor, and glory and praise!
Amen

Sorry we brought on the hormonal tidal wave cameowlot!! We'll all be blubbering messes come Thurs & Friday - times 2!! :-) Oh the joys of womanhood - Cramps I can deal with - but what's with these boobs?!?! It hurts just to have 'em for 2 weeks. And they wonder why we get crabby... gr-r-rr-r... :-)
Just think - if you pack the way you're thinking about, you could have a garage sale out of your van @ the hotel!! Just might make some money this weekend after all! :-)) I actually get mowing duty some time this week it sounds like - we'll see about that!! :-) about 2 acres of leaves....stop every 10 feet cuz the bagger's full - sound like a job for son #2 to me... :-) Beats raking - but not by much.
Anyone else thinking about going to Great American over liberty weekend? SR says he wants to take us, we might check it out...

Went to Target on lunch. Bought white long-sleeve shirt - didn't have time to try on, if meduim is too small, don't laugh @ the michilan lady @ M&G... dropped off at graphics place next door - might have it ready B4 we leave, if not I save $25 bucks! I'm doing this the easy way for M&G - gonna wear the hat ladies! OH - another Idea - I could've had a Ship10mom hat made instead!! Why do the ideas come after it's too late to put them into action? Must be God's way of saying, uh...no - you should not do that - see, now you can't! :-)
