So can I say that trying to find a mover short notice gives me a headache!!
They gave my husband a house today..well kinda, they are going to give him the address on Monday - kinda uneasy they wouldn't take him to look at places...just told him they all look the same and will give him the address/keys next week =/ I hope it's nice...
Then on Wednesday or Thursday he should get leave to come help me move! Gotta start packing...

I want to get a DVD too
Comment by mom2nw on October 15, 2010 at 4:46pm
okay, did a little leg work....in your sailor's picture packet there is a white reorder form...on the bottom fill it in for the DVD/video. They can only accept orders by mail and will fill the prepaid orders first. They will put your name on a waiting list if you did not pre-order(last Friday I had nothing else on my mind) and then fill accordingly. VHS will be substituted if there are no longer DVDs available. They cannot take orders over the phone.

I second that - we love you Honnalora! Cry-baby my butt, you're wonderful, just like God made you, and you're human - and we learn so much from you!
Glad you're feeling a bit better and glad you're learning to not over-extend yourself so. God never changes, but teaches us how to - amen to that!
And just look at all the mistakes He tolerates from us and how hard it must be for Him to watch us mess up our lives... whoa - that is a wonderful lesson to all of us parents (the whoa was b'cause I've not really looked at that before, just made me pause...)
See Honnalora, in sharing with us you teach us and God does His work. We love you & are glad we can be here for you and with you!

Anyone ready for the countdown clocks to go?
Comment by Honnalora on October 15, 2010 at 12:04pm
I have been SO busy. This is how busy... I actually cancelled/postponed a fundraising dinner. I really believe that a ministry should really do things in excellence, bringing Glory to God. The event planning team was just struggling a bit. I could have stepped in and done it, but believe our Churches need a bit of a wake up call. Namely - THAT I CAN'T DO IT ALL!!! Or maybe I just need to know it. Regardless, it has lifted some stress.

I did manage to finish our annual ministry report and have our annual meeting of our board of directors. I love what I do, but man can it be tough.

All that said, my son is in Great Lakes at A school, waiting for classes to begin. He has his cell phone and I am shipping him so essentials from home and the mac laptop. We have texted or talked each day. I really need to let go a bit and be okay with him being who he wants to be, even if I don't always agree. He is going to make stupid mistakes and he will learn from them...right?

This whole experience has caused me to learn some things about myself. That's good too right? Through it all - God is still God and works all things for His Glory! Always good to have a solid foundation to stand on.

Thanks for letting me vent and be a bit of a cry baby. This concludes the pity party. I feel much better now. Also - thanks for all the prayers. You, my dear friends are making a HUGE difference in my life.

Yay Harmony!!!
Yeah - we might have chores this weekend (or like heleng said - Get to do them!) but at least we're not trying to pack up after just getting home... but I'm sure it's worth it!
As for me - I have to get my house in order - it's driving me NUTZ!!! And oh my gosh there are like 80 tons of leaves, and branches down, and... ok - 1 thing at a time, right? :-) yeah - back to reality and the daily grind :-)
