Hey Mom's I haven't posted on here since PIR.  I hope everyone and their Sailors are doing well, my Seabee is well he is in Gulf Port and will be headed to the sandbox possibly the end of may.  I thought boot camp was tough but compared to this it was nothing.

My Sailor is on his first underway today @ 0810 aboard the John C Stennis.  He'll be in green while on the flight deck.  Both Sailor and mom are nervous and excited!  This is what you've been waiting for - ready, set, go!  :-)

Written March 5th in Emptynesters Group--Hi Navy Moms you know how great this site is I'll tell you- Just about an Hour ago I got a great surprise via text message from one of our Navy Moms who I met during our sons PIR back in October 8 2010 at Great Lakes-She texted me saying Hi Guess who I just hugged and I said Who? She responded"Your Son" I gave him a Big Hug for You. - I started crying Happy Tears because she really made my day, I had spoken to my son briefly earlier and this was a great ending to my day, she later send me 2 fotos via cell phone of both of our sons. They were both together in the same unit during BCamp."Im still teary eye" but since PIR us Moms have stayed in touch on and off and I consider her my friend and I only pray that our friendship last Forever. I met some Great Moms on Meet & Greet and we still keep in touch plus others from the different groups on this great website who I have not even met so this is a Powerful Website and one of Longlasting Friendship because Us Navy Moms Are The Very Best-My Love to All and I have no way to Thank my Buddy Christina for giving me a Wonderful Surprise Today. (funny thing today March 5th was the day I met my son's Dad back in 1977(Im a widow since 1987) so I guess it was a gift from above via NavyMommyto4boyz she was visiting her son at GL and they bumped into my son and she thought of Me right away. God Bless My Navy Friend and her Sailor and All of Us Navy Moms who Miss Our Children so very much. Luv Maria Navy25

So as you see How Powerful We All Are and All because Our Sailors got Us Together so They as Well are very Poweful to have started this Beautiful Friendship Navy Moms PIR 10/8/10 Rock Luv ya All Ladies
