Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!
Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!
Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Judy ~ I am sorry to hear about your son being seperated. I hope he gets the medical attention he needs for the asthma. It is better to have found out now tho that he has asthma, then later.

Chat box up top gave mea weird name and have no idea how to change it. My son is now being separated after 5 months at bootcamp because they say he has asthma, so looks like I am no longer a navy mom.

well, it's the last day of the year (probably) when all of my chicks are here in the roost. Nick is out tomorrow, back to his new life and I am so grateful he has found something that he loves to do. I will be sad when he goes, but happy that he has found a job he is proud and glad to do. I am so proud of the really fine men and women and their families I have met this past fall. May all of your New Years bring happiness, health and prosperity and may the Good Lord watch and keep the sailors we love. Happy New Year to you all, Love, Linda

We got to spend Christmas with our sailor and she got to see all the family. We all know how limited these times will be, so we were very thankful.

So glad for all of you who got to spend Christmas with your sailors. Update on my son, still at RTC, still sick, and now may be showing signs of asthma due to the cold climate. He has an appt with the asthma clinic next week, and I really don't have a good feeling. Thank you for all your prayers. Judy

Thanks Melanie - me too - but it's looking slimmer and slimmer...
Still have my 13 year old at home, and although he'll be missing his brother as well if he's not here, I need to try and stay up-beat for him... or should I say I need to work on getting upbeat :-) He's getting a punching bag for Christmas - yes this is what he wanted - so maybe it'll really come in handy! :-)
