The words of that song echo through my mind today. I don't understand why it has taken so long to take up residence in the fore-front of my brain. It was a song we sang every Sunday at the church we attended in Kansas until I was eight. (We moved to Texas, making church attendance in Kansas a little tricky.)
Saturday: We received a letter from our son.…

Today is my baby boy's 20th birthday. Kind of sad this is his second birthday I have not been with him but at least time I got to skype him to talk to him and see him. I miss him so much! But at least he isn't alone he has his wife, kitten and his little one baking in mommas tummy. Happy Birthday my sweet little boy!

My son graduated from boot camp on Friday and was in Pensasola Fl. Sunday morning. He has to go to Aircrew candidate school before A school (at least that is my understanding). And essentially another month of boot camp on the marine side of the base. Has anyone been down this road? It just starts my worrying all over again!!

Hi I was wondering if anyone else Sailor is having trouble getting paid. My son has not been paid for the last 2 checks. When he asked about it he is told they will pay him over time which does not sound right. Payday is Payday
He is going again tomorrow to talk about this again. Hopefully he gets this taken care of soon. He still has college loans to be paying

I find myself flipping back forth between "What I can write about on this blog?" and wrapping my head around the events in the world, "What the heck is going on?" I have little mini-blogs in my head as I wander around the shampoo aisle in Target. And later, as I sip my coffee and watch virtual chaos on the news, I am wondering why is this all happening NOW? Am I just increasingly aware since we have a son in the Navy?
I thought about blogging about the 466 Navy acronyms…

I got another letter yesterday and our son is doing well. Actually he is doing great! He did have his wisdom teeth pulled and he said it wasnt that bad. They numbed him up pretty good and gave him a day or 2 to recover. That made me feel a little bit better since I could no be with him and feed him yogurt or mash potatoes!! hahahah
He really LOVES the church service on Sundays. He takes that opportunity to walk into a stress-free environment and worship our Lord and Savior! To me,…
