navy25 - you're profile is strange set-up. Friend request me if you'd like - we have a lot in common!! Beautiful son by the way!

Was at my in-laws tonigh (neighbors - yeah, blessing and curse, but anyhow) we were talking about our 'children' ( 18 - 24) growing... I know that there was a 2 year span when my Papa (maternal grandfather) went in the Navy and when he got out, and he looked like the hulk when he got out compared to the skinny kid he was when he went in!!! It's been 8+ weeks... wonder what my SR will look like... I SO LOVE MY SONS!!!!

Thanks navy25!! I am so uptight I am about to bite off the nails it took me a month to grow!!! I think I'll go outside and smoke instead.
My "DH" called my emotions & excitement 'bullsh*t" tonight in his neandrathal way of putting things - gotta love it. 20 minute 'discussion' ensued from there. Whatever. I am not going to apologize for being excited, nervous, scared, proud or any other emotion I may have regarding the child I carried in my womb for 9 months, protected from every real and perceived danger, nurtured with every ounce I had in my, taught how to be a responsible young man by not allowing him to get away with sh*t, and now I've just been through an 8 week separatiion, which is 5 1/2 weeks longer than I've had to deal with in 18 years, not to mention the fact that the next time I see him, he will be a US SAILOR, part of the military I have grown up loving and admiring since I was a child, and he will have followed his heart and accomplished the beginning of his dreams...excuse the hell out of me if I'm a little bit emotional!!!!
Can I get a HOOYAH?!?!?
