My SR has a "calling card" that is part of our long-distance service. Those of you in your 40's might remember these from our college days before cell phones. LOL! While he doesn't always have access to a pay phone, he doesn't have to worry about a decent cell phone signal either. It has worked well for him for his few calls home. We plan to take his cell phone to him in hopes that we can meet him at the airport, as he is grad and go. Until he has his cell phone, this will be a great way for him to keep in touch via phone! Just wanted to throw that out there.

For those still waiting for I'm a Sailor calls and BS21, praying for you!!!!

Big sigh of relief as the clock hits 8:00 am (Central time). Just to know they are done is a step in the right direction, now to wait for the call.......

A big HOOYAH shoutout to all of your sailors today! The Navy chant. Believe me, they are hooyahing at bc. So if you are excited about anything on here....
HOOYAH! Greeting your recruit with it in a letter or phone call always gets interesting reactions since they wonder how we know?????
Hope all have a great day!

1 hour till BS is done for the Div's who went last night - Yay!!! Can't wait to see the I'm a Sailor calls coming in!!!
Feels like the eye of the storm for me this morning, it's kind of nice, the stress is gone (for the moment), so it's good.

Well, have to get ready for work - Have wondeful day everyone! Can't wait to see all coming to M&G - Can't wait to see my Sailor!!!! :-) Yay!!! Happy Day!

Prayiing for the "sailors" who are just finishing up! YAH! Excited for those getting the calls today.

For anyone who has a recruit struggling with a run, please feel free to message me any concerns. I have more info but didn't want to "fill up the board" with that. Meanwhile, I know that all are praying for these recruits....it is cool that sometimes the RDC's will run with them to motivate them to "get it done!" They truly want each of these recruits to be sailors.

To add to what Jessica said about the cells and laptops....for those who have sailors going away for A School and who cannot receive them at the airport for one reason or another (like a charter flight....no family allowed then)....I priority mailed my son his cell at A School and he got it in 3 days.
