Dropping in to say Hi! Hope ya'll all had a Happy Thanksgiving. My son was adopted by a wonderful family in GL for Thanksgiving! I felt a little better about not being with him, because he was still with family. He and 11 other sailors had Thanksgiving dinner with a host family. What a wonderful thing for that family to do. I can not wait for Christmas, my sailor is coming home for two weeks. He's bringing one of his roomates home too, since he has nowhere to go for Christmas. So I will have two sailors home for Christmas!!! :) The house is almost all decorated and ready, I want to have it all done by the time he walks through the doors! Merry Christmas to you all! Have a blessed holiday!

Hi everyone! Just wanted to drop in and see how everyone is doing :)
My husband and I are loving it here in Charleston! He is doing great in school - has the second highest GPA in his class, and the 6th highest Electrician's Mate GPA in the school!! (He is a Nuke)
We got a dog a few weeks ago, have our own little family now :)
Had a great first Thanksgiving, my parents came down and everything turned out delicious! We started putting up Christmas decorations yesterday, got the tree up and decorated our stockings :) I'm so excited to finally get to decorate my own place for Christmas!
Hope everyone else and their Sailors are doing well!

I received the dvd but have not watched it yet, I wanted to to wait until my daughter comes home this week so she can see it too. I cannot believe this week has arrived, she graduates from A school on Friday, how exciting and this will be her first time home since August.

Hi All
Has anyone received the yearbook or the graduation dvd yet?
Comment by Judy Proud Mom on November 26, 2010 at 2:20pm
Hi all, just dropped back in to let you all know that my son is still in boot camp. He was released to full duty too soon after his stress fractures and re-injured himself. They had told him 8 weeks, and put him back to full after only 4. So now we have no clue how much longer. For those of you saying prayers, thank you, and so glad that you all get to talk to your sailors. I wouldn't wish this on anybody. Judy
