Dear N4M,
(Warning: This post is very personal, I am writing it because I feel that people need to know they arent alone. Please do not judge, or say negative comments towards it.)
This post is not nessicarly about the Navy, but about life in general. Has anyone here dealt with someone who is depressed? Or maybe you personally have battled your own bouts of depression. Well lately, it seems my life has been filled with this word. This scary, sad, helpless word that seems to…

Dear N4M,
For those of you who know me through the public chat, this is for you. This is for all the women on here who gossip, slander, take sides, pick fights...for the women who for some God awful reason CARE WHAT YOU ALL THINK OF EACHOTHER.
I have been on this site for 2 years now and cannot count all the hairs on my head for how many times I have witnessed fights, been talked about, been talked to about others and been pulled into drama on this site. And I…

Dear N4M,
I have recently had a run in with a few girlfriends who are young and in love and very new to the navy lifestyle and have tons of questions about jumping into the ropes of marriage, and even bigger, the Navy life as a wife. So here is for you Navy Girlfriends, here is my advice, my honesty, my love, my support and my story. Enjoy.
Two years ago, when I first logged onto N4M and created my profile as a proud Navy Girlfriend, I was at a complete loss as to…

Dear N4M,
Tomorrow will be mine and my husbands One year wedding anniversary. And I must say, with this deployment hardly finished with the first quarter...I am a little discouraged. The past few weeks have been rough, yet eye opening. I have ver few friends at this duty station and have lost contact with some and had falling outs with others. Lately I have been feeling very alone which has caused me to do a bit of soul searching. I guess my confidence was a little shot when…

Hey N4M,
I haven't written in a while. I have been so caught up in life lately I have hardly had time to think straight. So here is a little catch up. My husband is now on deployment, (our first one) and it has been one hell of a ride and we are not even through the first half! There has been so many changes in myself and in my husband that we have been noticing everytime we talk. Of course deployment SUCKS, we all know that. And there has been a few tiffs that always seem…

Hey N4M,
So lately I feel like my marriage...or maybe just me, is in a rut. I feel like we are stangnet. Like everything is standing still and there is no movement anymore. We say the same old things and have the same fights and honestly, dont have much to say at all. I feel like we are just going through the motions of marriage but not indulging and living in those moments. My husband leaves on deployment in 2 months and I am honestly looking forward to it. Not because I…

Hello N4M,
As for my last blog, I suppose it was a bit on the pessimist side.
Today, I am happy to say that things are finally falling into place here. Being a military wife has finally become my new normal. And living here has finally become home.
Molly, my puppy, is doing much better. She is pretty much trained. With a lot of patiences, and a few sleepless nights I have finally been able house break her. Anyways, this is not about my…

So basically I hate statistics.
Because they say that me and my husband have about a 1% chance of not getting divorced.
I swear I am going to prove them wrong. But this uphill battle is tiring and frustrating, and quite frankly I am flat out exhausted. With my husband gone for 12 hours of the day monday-friday and me working 45 hours a week, a new puppy who needs so much attention, I feel like she is a human child, and us drowning in bills, sometimes walking away seems like a…

LADIES!!!
It has been too long since I have had time to sit down and open up this dusty laptop of mine and get onto N4M!
My wonderful husband came home on November 4th from A-School. We are now stationed at NAS Lemoore. We spent 2 wonderful, relaxing weeks of leave together, bought our first car together, leased our first apartment, bought a tv and have been having a BLAST being married. I have not been so at peace with my life in so long! I am absolutly loving…

My dearest N4M members,
On March 15th my entire world was turned upside down when my, then boyfriend, left for Great Lakes. I know you all know that feeling, or will know it soon. For the last 7 months I have been waiting for my world to return to normal again. Yet I realized today, it won't ever be normal again. My life changed forever the second he walked onto that plane, when I got the "I am a sailor phone call", when he proposed to me on PIR weekend and on September 3rd…

So me and my sailor were married on september 3.
I live in California, he is stationed in Pensacola, Florida
I have changed my bank account and drivers license
I know I still need to change my Social Security Card last name
But I have a few questions,
I know he needs my birth certificate, ssc, and the marriage license to fill out paper work on his end.
1. Can I fax him these papers or do they need to be sent via…

Dear N4M,
On March 15th, my fiance (then boyfriend) left for Great Lakes. Of course I cried, I missed him. I felt helpless, lost and betrayed. I cried off and on for those 2 months.
On May 7th, he PIR'ed and I cried tears of happiness. I was in his arms again and couldn't be more happy.
On May 9th, he proposed. Again, the tears of happiness. Bliss.
On May 9th, we dropped him back off at RTC and I cried tears of hurt, longing,…

Currently, Jake is at a-school in pensacola, fl
He has NOT gotten his orders yet and we planned on him cominog home in July so we could get married BEFORE he got his orders so I could be on them.
BUT, because of the regulations with marriage licensing in the state I live in, it doesnt seem that it is going to work out, because he wont be home during open office hours at the county clerks office.
SO, we are talking about waitng until he is done…

Hey N4M...my last blog was a little update on everything that has been going on with Jake and I and the Navy... Here is a little more that has been going on, and a bit of ranting as well.
First off, I would like to say that I apprciate N4M and all the support and love that everyone can find here. Though I have had a few encounters with some not so nice members, I have for the most part made it this far because of you all. So thank you!
It is 45 days until the…

FIRST OFF, Jake graduated PIR on May 7th (DIV 179) They got all of their flags excpet for one. They did pretty amazing. I am so proud of all of our sailors. (For all of you who still have guys in boot camp, dont worry, he is JUST fine and he is thinking about you all the time and he isn't going to change and be mean and…
