This is terrible...praying for the family...so sad. Yes...it is unbelievable dianne...I don't think it has quite registered yet for me...
oh no... that is terrible diannep. How heartbreaking. The family is in my prayers.
Please pray for the female recruit who died at GL. Of pneumonia. Just arrived Jan 30th, so thinking she may have been in the 3/30 group. Taken to the health center just 10 days after she arrived, died the next day. 19 yrs old. Prayers for her family...unbelievable that two SRs have been lost in just a month.
HAAA! Too funny. Yep, he is still a "work in process!"
I noticed my son, after he took a shower and was back in uniform, on the floor, carefully folding the tshirt/undies he took off. He didn't know I could see him...I muffled my laughing but thought it was a priceless moment. Although he has been doing his own wash since 12, his folding had been done at lightening speed when he put tshirts away, so they usually looked like he had slept in them when he wore them. I would say that when I saw this, he was going at 1/4 the rate of speed when folding that he did before!
Yep, those would be the "body snatchers." What's what they call them! :-0
Thank you FTLW:)
It wasn't here FTLW. It was on facebook.
I second that request for a photo of the color guard! My brother was carrying the American Flag but the seats for the honor recruit families were too far away to get a photo of him in the color guard. If anyone got a great photo of the color guard I would be most appreciative to have a copy!
navyfriend-11 We don't kick people off of the PIR groups. You have to be pretty out of line for that to happen...and we have dealt with a lot. We (creator and administrators of the group) can suspend people but I haven't seen it done in the 11 months I have been on.I am very sorry that happened to you. I hope you got contact with your friend and yes there is a lot of groups on here that you can still join and get support.
Yep. that's what I thought too. oh well. Was planning to delete myself from their page, but they just beat me to the punch!
