McJane:  Lala ships the ribbons by priority mail, I believe.

Darcie:  My heart breaks for both of you right now...I know it is hard for either of you to process this.  After all of his hard work...and he was just about there!  I feel the only comfort right now is knowing that he did his very best, but the Lord has different plans for him.  I know he probably learned so much from his bootcamp experience that he will take with him in life.  I know you can't wait to get your arms around him and his around you...you have been a vital part of this group and I know all will be keeping you and your husband in their prayers.  Blessings to both of you in your future together.

Darcie, My heart is breaking for you and your husband.  Just try to trust that it is all in God's hands, I know it doesn't make it any easier right now. Prayers are being sent your way.

Thanks Jen, I tried really hard to make boot more enjoyable for him and drag some of the guys around him into it so they all could get to know each other better.. and it sounds like they had all also really enjoyed the letter I sent to the division as a whole.. I will still try my best. I am currently working on getting our home ready for him. I will try to make it a smooth transition for him. I know it will not be easy at first. I pray everything will work out and that this happened for a reason.

I am waiting to hear back from him, I only got a VERY short call this morning from him explaining first that I wouldn't see him on the 10th.. Which made me REALLY confused.. instead it would be another month.. Then he explained he is leaving due to medical discharge, I guess he has been having migraines starting around 2 weeks after he originally got to boot.. And I guess it got bad enough for them to notice this morning.. :(

Waiting anxiously to hear some news, I am happy I get to see him and have him home, but I my disappointment almost outweighs that right now.. I know how hard he tried and worked at it.. Just frustrating. I can only imagine what he is going through.. Even more so since today was his "day".. and now he has to sit out while his friends and div-mates are doing their hardest to pass.. :(

Darcie... what happened? Just saw post from G's Mom, but I am not sure what it is, it just didn't sound good... Hope everything is okay. Thoughts and prayers are with you and your husband.

@Lala....I hope my order makes it here before we leave. We are leaving on Tuesday so Monday is going to be cutting it close. How were they shipped UPS, US Mail, Fedex? We are rural and most times it takes a day or two longer.

Darcie, my heart is breaking for you. I saw your post on FB thought it could be you (different pic and full name wasn't sure). I wish you and your husband the best and I hope he is OK. Your energy and commitment to your husband is profound and I know he is so lucky to have you! You will both be in my thoughts and prayers.
