well things kind of seem "normal" again now that I can text and talk to my son again..what an amazing weekend...the PIR ceremony was breathtaking to say the least...never more proud of ALL those sailors...congrats to all!!!!
Ladies, we like to make sure that the info we are collecting is up to date before passing on to the next PIR groups. Can you please post here if any info we gave you about PIR weekend was inaccurate, has changed, etc? Would appreciate it!
Had a great weekend with my sailor. Hated to leave him, but now I know he's good to go. He seems to have this air of maturity he didn't before he left. I'll miss him still, but at least now we can contact one another in a more regular and timely manner. Everyone's sailors looked so GOOD! Enjoyed the PIR and despite my daughter's report- I DID NOT CRY. Had tons of tissues just in case and had moments during the weekend where it would hit me, but...
I agree with FTLW, Oceans. She can get info at the A School on how to do this. Since being at bootcamp, most would not have gotten on the pay site yet. So if she isn't told, she needs to ask, but I bet they will cover it in INDOC.

Dang...no one told her? Well, I am sure they will at INDOC at her new command...not sure just how much they cover that at BC.
She can access her LES's and other pay info on myPay:
Here is the website:

I only know how to log in LOL...know nothing about set up...only have had to use it when hubby is deployed.
I know she'll have to createe an account, you can use an ID and password and now they can use their CAC card reader...but someone will have to show them how.
I am home, what a fabulous time with my sailor! She is all settled in Monterey! It is so nice being able to text her and talk to her. What an amazing difference and oh so much easier. I hadn't been on this site while in GL, it was very nice to see we are now the Alumni group. So where else on this site should I join now? Is there a site for her Aschool? Or her Job?
My daughter doesn't even know how to log onto get her paystubs. I told her to call the bank, is that correct?
Still tired from this weekend. Woke up my husband at 4:00 a.m. on Friday to get to the gate. Couldn't believe it but we were the second car in line - Woo Hoo!! Then my husband asked what time the Gate ACTUALLY opened - he didn't say "Woo Hoo" when I told him 6:30 and it was only 5:30 - men just don't understand, do they! But what a fantastic ceremony!!
