Yes! Another change-over on the countdown clock! Wonderful!!
Good Morning!
Have a good day everyone! Just a little over 2.5 weeks left! See you all soon. :) Can't wait to hug my SR! Getting so excited/pumped.
Sorry I was gone again today…had a retirement ceremony to go to out at base…then had to take a nap…. Thought about all of you ALL day and especially the 01/20 group and Christophers family today. Snuck some peaks on phone in the bathroom!
Navyfriend11-Please try the Questionnaire...I only got ONE letter from my son late into BC and my Questionnaire. He had been sick...then pneumonia (luckily only SIQ for a few days)...sick again and add homesickness to that! (I was a mess of course...we got extra phone calls though...so I begged for a letter...even an "x" on a piece of TP would've sufficed...I treasure that letter on Navy RTC stationary!) The first thing he wrote was, "Now that I have something good to write about..."...I know it is really hard...I would try until you REALLY know something!
NJB it is her friend not her daughter but I am sure it is still very hard. navyfriend, I hope you hear from her very soon. :-)
I have sent her plenty of paper and stamps and envelopes. I have also asked her a couple times now to write to me. Apparently it doesn't seem to matter. I write her like 4 pages each time I write, and I send her jokes as well. I get nothing. I just think maybe I should give up now.
So it's now been over 3 weeks that I have heard from my SR friend. It's scaring me and bit, but more depressing than anything else. I have wrote her over and over. I just want to know if she's ok. Thats all I want to know. No long story, just if she's ok. I don't even know if she's still a recruit or if she's switched divisions. Nothing!! I think it's time for me to give up hope. I wish I knew someone out there that could help figure out if she's still there, or just that she's ok. I don't even know if she has gotten my letters. Talk about losing faith!!!
So sorry to hear about your mom Betsy...hope she is doing better.
Thanks, FTLW and diannep for the link.
Betsy,
I hope your mom is doing better.
Carmen
